TRAVEL. CAPTURE. CREATE. ThereGoesSaraRose.com

Welcome to another adventure in my travel blog! Here I, Sara Rose, share my experiences and recommendations for amazing destinations around The West Coast, the United States, and someday the World. Today, let’s dive into the vibrant and diverse Exposition Park located in Los Angeles, California. My last day in Los Angeles made me nostalgic and the need for something familiar! I needed a museum. It was a last minute decision to visit this wonderful era but had been pulling on my memory since my last visit, when I was 12-years-old.

I visited during lockdown, check current guidelines for the most up-to-date travel information.

Exposition Park is home to several renowned cultural institutions, including the California Science Center, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the California African American Museum. Immerse yourself in fascinating exhibits, interactive displays, and educational programs that cater to all ages. As a child, I have fond memories of visiting the California Science Center and being amazed by the hands-on exhibits that allowed me to learn while having fun with family. Sports Enthusiast’s Paradise

Sports lovers will be delighted to know that Exposition Park is home to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and the Banc of California Stadium. Catch an exhilarating football game at the Coliseum or cheer for your favorite soccer team at the Banc of California Stadium. The electric atmosphere and passionate fans make for an unforgettable experience. Although not an avid sports fan myself, I appreciate physical spaces and things from times past. Kidspace Children’s Museum as a kid was the best and still fun for adults! It’s a great place for children to explore, play, and learn in a fun and interactive way. Additionally, the Exposition Park has paths to walk, things to discover and the ever popular Rose Garden as a great spot for a family picnic or a game of frisbee. Source: Kidspace Children’s Museum
